Junior developers often make bad tradeoffs when confronted with choices. Growing in this isn't just saying "it depends" for everything [insert meme], it's truly understanding how to assess the right tradeoffs for a problem.

Seniors: it's your job to help newer devs learn this skill!

My dad made me do an HTML course at 8 because he was like "if you're gonna be on the computer on the time, you're going to do something productive" and I got hooked.
Tinkered with HTML/CSS, then WordPress, then got an internship at a web design company and learned the hardcore stuff!
How did you get into web development?

MySpace? Comp sci? Made the jump from print? Bootcamp?

I completely agree with Chris here and I love what @fly.io has enabled for my applications. I look forward to pushing things further.

This aligns very well to my own sensibilities on deploying web apps. I just like using JavaScript everywhere.
