Thank you to everyone who joined our first policy committee kickoff, and the 140 community members who are stepping up every day to make a difference in the city. These committees will help frame near-term priorities and surface practical recommendations for the administration’s first 100 days.

Really enjoyed participating in the Massachusetts Mayors' Association's Newly Elected Mayors Training today. The storm moved the event virtual, but it was great connecting with other incoming mayors and hearing from experienced mayors and subject matter experts on issues facing mayors in our state.

Congrats to the Somerville Highlanders football team on their 38-20 victory over our neighbors from Cambridge in the 2025 Battle for the Picket Fence. Great seeing so many faces from the community and fellow electeds at Russell Field cheering on our student-athletes!
