Absolutely class coded. But I also think that doing whatever I want so long as it doesn't harm anyone else regardless of gossip is a pretty nontoxic expression of my admittedly huge bucket of privilege. My children are better at this than I am already.

If you say so.

Shockingly I do not. Nor do my neighbors. Keep these tips coming we'll figure it out before long tho.

It's not just urban. My small 1100~ person rural village has a dollar store, a gas station and no bus to anyplace else. Hope you like roller dogs and kraft mac and cheese.

I will be sure to tell my poorer neighbors who shop at the family dollar and the gas station for food that they should use their agency to manifest some Chestnut Hill lettuce and potatoes. Or else walk 7, 12 or 27 miles to Walmart which, unsurprisingly, does not deliver here.

Both are true you're good.

Oh, here!

Yep.

Slightly fewer than the number of times I've tried to eat a coffee bean.

Fair! That hit softer and later where I am and so it doesn't always come right to mind. Great point.

I wasn't disappointed enough not to try it a second time, just to see. 😂

I feel like this is the whole narnia/turkish delight thing in a nutshell. Anything is a big step up from nothing. It's been a long time since any meaningful rationing (gas when I was little, odd-even days) and a really long time since there was food rationing here in America anyways.

To yr point lots of time they aren't even in apartments by themselves and watching with roommates might be every bit as uncomfortable.

If you haven't seen it, Matt Berry's Year of the Rabbit has an extended, gratuitous and hilarious sex scene that'd be my exception. It'd crack my folks up.

Apologies if I was tiresome!

I'm fascinated by and fall prey to it often. Mostly faces for me but my sisters and I play wordle and share results on a group chat and it's funny when the blocks call an emoji to mind immediately. This one in a commercial marina in Montauk was especially good imo.

Green eyes, tilted-switch nose, big old mouth fulla laundry but it would be awesome if you saw something different!

I think pareidolia is any perceived image from a non-image source and faces are a subset. Like clouds that look like houses are also pareidolia. I have a washer-dryer set that is amazingly pareidolatrous and I never don't laugh.

I'm good at chickens and while it would change my relationship to them generally, I could probably make a go of it as The Chicken Guy which is probably an ok job all things considered.

I have been watching with interest as the walmart here has moved beyond collards and kale into real struggle greens like dandelions and mustard. If they start stocking beet or radish tops I'm putting my money in a mattress and locking the doors for a while.

I thought it was more about how the nation is a machine that grinds the innocent between its teeth and it takes a miracle to escape it but I can see where you're coming from too.

I'm pretty sure that where I live 90% of the time that's on purpose so nobody is near their baby. It would make me mad if the parking fields weren't all multi acre and severely underused. People are okay at street parking but they complain about it to a degree i can't believe, being from Brooklyn.
