This goes for Vtubers, streamers, and other types of creators as well. Leave the site that makes money for the world's richest bigot. You can still grow without it. You don't "need" it to grow, but it needs you to keep making money. Twitter as you might have once known is long gone. Let go.
I'm begging any artists still using Twitter claiming it's integral to their work to just leave. It's been revealed the site works off a made up "credit score" from hell and punishes you for posting like a normal human being.

i have been meaning to broaden my music tastes a bit recently but the thing is that king gizz released 27 studio albums in the last 15 years and they are all completely different and also excellent so i kind of just stumble around hyperfixating on different albums of theirs over and over forever

the only good thing about genAI is that it got me to really love seeing bad art, because I know a person put in time and effort, made themselves vulnerable by showing it to others, and is trying to improve. I value that more than anything now

Why am I so against generative AI in games?
Because I simply do not want my initial reaction to art to be one of suspicion and scrutiny, AI slop is fundamentally damaging my relationship to art and artistry, and I am deeply resentful that it is forcing me to be guarded when I should be wowed.
