To unscrew the grey part of the IEC 60309 (CEE-form) connector from its blue part, you need to loosen the screw that secures the two parts together. Many industrial connectors of this type have a locking mechanism or screw that holds the two main body pieces together to prevent accidental disconnection or exposure of wiring. Look for one or two screws on the side of the connector, which are often covered by a plastic cap. After loosening the screws, the two parts should come apart. Some newer designs may also use a"twist and lock" function, which allows the connector to be opened and closed more easily without screws. Before performing any work on the connector, ensure that it is not connected to a power source. Working on electrical connectors with the power on could result in serious injury or death.

This is a "lift" that links St Gervais town centre and the spa below.

It can run thanks to sewage : there is equipment to fill tanks under the floor with sewage to save electricity however the sewage system didn't appear to run when we visited.
The lift is like a funicular railway with just one cabin. The counterweight runs under the tracks. The lift has some Dalek like appendages to fill the tank with sewage.

A wall at Place des fêtes station. At the bottom, the tracks. The wall used to be covered in the usual white rectangular tiles but most have been removed exposing the stones/concrete underneath At the top of the picture the tiles are still there as well as the blue and white station name sign. Below there's an area of red tiles that have been kept in place. There's a device to cut off electricity to the tracks attached to the red tiles. Wires come out of the device.
