For some reason, adding a float to my nav list is pushing it out of the header up a level.

Here's a game idea if I don't get to it:

Armored Core, but the ACs are people, so the body parts, weapons and tank controls are just clothes, weapons, and tank controls.

With a heavy emphasis on topical geopolitical issues.

I'm writing this thing by hand. We'll work out the javascript later. Probably just embed the gamemaker idea into the main site.

One of my favorite fighting games is Dissidia. While JJK: Cursed Clash is mechanically the same, something about it doesn't gel with me. Maybe I'm just not too invested in it. Both are essentially arena fighters like DB Sparking (Tenkaichi), but Dissidia feels more technical.

Here's what I have so far using gamemaker.
While it does scale with the browser, everything outside of the Draw GUI event does too. The text inside the event does not automatically wrap around, but it does maintain its scale and position.

You know what I just realized???

I CAN JUST USE GAMEMAKER. I'm a legacy user with the HTML5 exporter. I just tested one of my old projects in neocities, and it JUST WORKS.

I think I looked into this years ago and either didn't figure it out, or just gave up. WOW.

#comics cause I'm asking a genuine question:

Anyone read James Harvey's Luigi Mode? I was able to catch it when he first posted it on instagram, and it's a pretty neat miniseries, all things considered. It's £35 (£52 with a custom sketch), but I'd recommend it.

I may have been overreacting about javascript. Also, what I was looking for was the Document Object Model. I was seeing it alot and figured it was a super secret global variable or something.

A while ago, I complained about making my own website. I've been brainstorming the format while looking into javascript. I'm sure the html and css parts of website building are easy enough to where I could've just had them by now, but it's the javascript that's strangling me.

Running test.
I'm using Animation Paper for these, it's pretty smooth.

Testing out the minimap. I'm not sure if I want to have a "static" map and just use an arrow to indicate direction, or rotate the entire map. This is testing out the second option. I like it, but now I need to see if it's faster with a script or per room.

Finally logged back into ffxiv. Hate to lose my status as a lady Lalafell, but the huntress Hrothgar was calling me.

I need the Shadow Clone Jutsu so I can do the three things I want to do at the same time.
(We'd all end up not doing a dang thing all day.)

Another rough drawing of this ant-guy. I also made another signature.

First drawing of the year. I don't know who this is, but he seems important.

I'm trying to figure out a new way to sign. Is there a list of graffiti styles I can look at?

"What was your biggest impact on the internet?"

Nothing really. I did make this Hey Arnold fanart a while back for a fan comic I've been putting off for around a decade. I did post them separately, and Phoebe's picture was the top search result up until a few years ago.

Uhh. . . I think the Clip Studio reddit just removed all of the Linux related topics.

I really need to finish my website. I wanna go on rants and rambles.

Here's where I stand with the minimap. There are 16 tiles that need to update on a per-room basis. I need to create either 4 1-dimensional arrays or 1 4-dimensional array and assign values for each array to each room. It sounds easy enough, but there's just one problem.

The problem: (see image 2)

I've updated my game on itch. While I don't think it's ready for everyone to try out, I have finished drawing all of the rooms (cutscenes notwithstanding)! What's left is the rest of the major interaction mechanics and the mini map.

Comix Cleric seems like what I was looking for, in terms of a responsive solution. I'll have to see how it is to set up, since you have to have your own server to set it up, but everything afterwards is as smooth as you'd want it to be.
