Donkey Kong: Bananza 100%ed. Fun game, but a bit too easy and all of the bosses except the last one were kinda bad. I enjoyed coordinating DK and Pauline’s costumes on each level. DK needed more hats though.

Binged 'The Alters' over the last few days. Not normally into base-building games, but the concept and story of this one really sold me. Tempted to do a second playthrough to get all the alternate paths, but I dunno if I can be bothered. Maybe I'll see if they add a NG+ mode.

I like Komano Manato's design, but he looks like when you're playing FFXIV and don't have the trousers for a new set of armour yet.

Another update! I managed to lure his friend inside with some food. I put a paper collar on it (her?) with my mobile number on asking for her owner (if she has one) to text me. So now we wait and see if she’s actually a stray or not! She was not happy about the collar though 😅

Barry's friend came back, so I let him out to test the water. They played awkwardly at first, but were soon running around and chasing each other. It got too dark to keep filming and Barry wouldn't come in so I left him to it. The little delinquent eventually came home about 3am.

Buying a month of Ubisoft+ and then trying to binge Assassin’s Creed: Shadows before my sub expired really brings to mind the old Blockbusters experience of renting video games. Did it though.
Good game, not perfect, but I liked the bits I liked enough to play 90 hours of it.

Played Girls Made Pudding, a short game about two girls motorcycling across a post-apocalypse where people disappear if no one is looking at them. Interesting concept, but could have been executed better. Gameplay was a bit too shallow and the characters fell a little flat.

It’s Barry’s first time outside this week and he loves it. He cries when he’s not allowed back outside and keeps trying the flap until it unlocks again in the morning. But something spooked him this morning and ever since he’s been sat by his flap too scared to go back outside 😭
