I’ve been flip-flopping between #Rust and #Go for a while now… but I think @fasterthanli.me finally put the nail in the Go coffin for me haha

Lies we tell ourselves to keep using Golang
In the two years since I've posted I want off Mr Golang's Wild Ride, it's made the rounds time and time again, on Reddit, on Lobste.rs, on HackerNews, and elsewhere. And every time, it elicits the ...

Anyone familiar with #dagger.io ?

If so, what are the footguns and pitfalls I should be watching out for.

Seems like I might be having to use that rather than #Nix on my CI pipelines :/ lol

I’ve been able to use my #ADHD as a software engineering super power for years, but recently, that feels so much harder. Any new strategies or tips out there I should look into?

Hello #Golang folks. I'm making a feed of all things Go and would like any suggestions you might have.

Some obvious thoughts are the defacto libraries we all use and love, but if you have suggestions and/or folks that should be included. Let me know.

Anyone know of a programming language that is mostly #go but with enums and the pattern matching of #rust / #ocaml? And maybe no nil :)

Why is Nix so hated by security teams? I get that there aren't a lot of tools that scan the nix store right now, but given that I can source a custom, curated version of the nixpkgs repo I think is better. I just want to use and evangelise for tools that are useful for my devs!
