Huh.
It is interesting they're still testing nitrous oxide for mental health things. And cool they found this.

Saying it is 'a Harvard problem' is a trivial truth - if we listed every place this problem existed, we would be here a *while*

If this problem were at Harvard, and Harvard only? It would be "a Harvard problem."

This is a problem with power, white men (in power), and money. The venn diagram is very nearly a circle, but this circle exists in many places. It isn't "a Harvard problem."
(also: "a Yale problem," "an oil ...")

Um.
These are not "problems at Harvard"

I make a Butternut Squash Bisque every year:
Butternut Squash, 3 lb, halved & de-seeded. Roast for 60-90 mins @ 350. (this can be done the day before). Peel the skin off then, and roughly cut up squash.
Then: Melt half stick Butter. Add 3 Leeks (white part), chopped. Stir for 2 min.

I deeply like this piece. The isomorphic argument Jurecic is making is concise, nuanced, and extremely well written.

2 things:
1) Sgt. Bo (link below), a totally awesome dog who made peoples' lives better; but also?
2) the American Humane Society has "Hero Dog Awards" every year, and this is their 15th year doing it. I just love that.
