Better than just saying "guess this is a new chapter for us, see you later", but not naming this as the ongoing women's rights crisis that this is.

For example, in April 2026, we will be launching a national network of local WI Sisterhood groups, which will offer monthly opportunities for all people, including transgender women, to come together to socialise, learn from each other, and share their experiences of living as women.
This is just one of several things that we are working on developing into full programmes with the support of existing members, NFWI staff, and trustees. These will be launched from April 2026, and we will provide more details on the full range of programmes in due course.

Can't find a primary source on the WI but I guess we are looking at segregating groups that are better than nothing IF they engage with the dynamics of challenging this shitshow, which pressure on them will be needed to.

Stuff like this gives me some hope that these institutions' responses won't be just to close their eyes and pretend like this week's announcements are the end of the story.

It's still an uninspiring display of helplessness, but that's exactly why some pressure on them and more on govt is needed.

If anyone is earnestly speculating on if the new mega Pokemon are shaped like an X or Y, I'd love to see it. So I have to be the shape investigator for now..

Basically, three mons that feel extremely obvious, 11 that I'm pretty sure fit into the trend, and 7 that I want to see analyzed.

Simultaneously- I am intersex. I don't fit neatly in boxes and sometimes I need language that describes sex traits that I share with others while the specific shared traits are unknown. I hate that I am literally being told to lump myself into words invented to replace perisex sex labels in order to express these things. I cannot stress enough that I am neither mulleripathian nor wolffipathian.

In my family there is a clear pattern in who develops bipolar disorder. That is- for at least 4, if not more, generations on my mom's side of family nearly everyone who was AFAB develops bipolar disorder. Not a single person who was AMAB has developed it. Given that the gender & sex demographics for bipolar disorder are approximately half and half this makes no sense. Bipolar disorder is supposed to affect all sexes equally. Evidently, in my family, this is not the case.

I have no specific trait to base this on. No one knows why my family has this pattern. I cannot point fingers and go "It's the hormones/chromosomes/etc." because nobody knows. Nobody even knows if we share those characteristics- certainly no one was looking at my great great grandma's sex chromosomes."

Oh god, it gets worse.

If you have "cis men DNI" in your bio, please consider the fact that we have cis men in our system, and thus by following us you are either misgendering some of us or being pluralphobic. Also consider that putting "cis men DNI" in your bio is excluding non-binary, intersex, altersex, gay, m-spec, and/or a-spec cis men. And you are forcing trans people to out themselves in order to follow you.

I think it's more just the fact that some intersex people are born with a body part that gets read as too big to be a clit and too small to be a dick.
