Endwalker Paladin set... Actually it is kinda funny how my go-to PLD set is the Endwalker one, my go-to DRK set is the Shadowbringers one and my go-to MNK set is the Stormblood one. Heavensward and Dawntrail are the exception I guess. Dragonlancer is meh without the helmet and Viper is ok I guess.

I think when looking at Ivonne’s and Val’s dynamic, it’s not just that Val admires Ivonne’s strength and the ease with which she beat her, but there’s also an almost “animal backing off after a territorial duel” quality to it. A degree of very instinctual intimidation.

Idk why I have not connected those dots yet but... The empire´s labor camps being a sort of perversion/inversion of what Ivonne does with many of her antagonists. So are the Alaudae, but that´s a more direct 1 to 1 with the collars and being a penal batallion... Like this makes sense to you, right?

💭OC that’s a fellow bastard of Antonius who did not get taken to and raised in the capital, and is thus pissed at Ivonne for the life she had and that this character in turn was denied… Seeking revenge and all that.
Is that too cliche? I have seen people make similar characters and dynamics before…

Ivonne was meant to be the tall and slender type by build, more about dexterity and agility over pure muscle strength, so Elezen fit her best. It’s also the closest to Garlean, as in many early expansion Garleans use Elezen animation rigs, so that fit with Ivonne’s lore of being Half-Garlean.

Ivonne was meant to be the tall and slender type by build, more about dexterity and agility over pure muscle strength, so Elezen fit her best. It’s also the closest to Garlean, as in many early expansion Garleans use Elezen animation rigs, so that fit with Ivonne’s lore of being Half-Garlean.

Crazy idea but, in my canon, Minfilia also briefly visiting Eline before she dies “for good” in Shadowbringers. In no way am I equating her to F’lhaminn or Thancred, but yknow. They knew each other. I expanded that into more of a friendship in my canon, especially when Ivonne brings them together.

Zooming in on the eyes here to show that Akina is not permanently possessed, Rhalia has just taken residence in her body and soul temporarily, incorporeal as she is. Nobody is supposed to just tell it at a glance after all (though I wonder if Y’shtola sees it via her aethersight)

Still kinda wanna give Val a tail akin to the popular “sting” tail, but I don’t think the very skeletal design really suits her… I need something scaly powerful looking with a stinger. Potentially armored too.

One thing you gotta keep in mind with the Licia/Ysayle arc is that it is happening basically at the same time as the Warring triad quests so if Licia just stayed on Azys Lla, she could have avoided all that and met Ivonne face to face.
