It’s not your fault that it’s so difficult. But it’s your responsibility to find a solution. We deserve more.

I do not need a platform to share my wins or my adventures. I do not need a thing to scroll when I can’t bare my own thoughts taking a shit. I do not need 10 second videos to spare me from existence.

I will not live another year, imprisoned by technology.

I want to live. 9/9

It does not make me weak for feeling this way; it simply makes social media successful. They use every psychological tool at their disposal to keep us hooked. They have won for far too long. 8/9

It is stealing so much time from me,and from many others alike. Time that could be spent valuably with loved ones, experiencing the world, or learning new skills. Instead, it’s just an endless cycle of dopamine hits. 7/9

Its so easy to develop the idea that real world achievements, whether personal growth or incredible adventures, aren’t worth merit unless they are witnessed and validated by others. This sickening need to prove oneself, whether to friends, acquaintances, or strangers on the internet, takes over. 4/9

Firstly, the incessant comparisons we make with one another are so fucking damaging to our sense of self-worth. In the real world, I rarely feel inadequate or unworthy. In fact, I feel quite proud of who I am. Yet a simple scroll can change that far too easily. 3/9

I wholeheartedly believe that subtle yet rampant phone and technology addiction is one of the biggest threats to both my own inner peace and society’s. It stands in the way of living an authentic, genuine, and content life. This problem has manifested in countless ways. 2/9
