Mortal Kombat Trilogy was a classic. So much stuff crammed into the game. I remember how after finishing an arcade mode run, you could pick a box to get a reward. I couldn't do them back in the day, but watching the compilations of Babalities, Fatalities, Friendships, and Brutalities was too fun.

Capcom vs SNK 2 might've been one of the first fighting games I played online. Even with the mic. First game I ever tried to do combos in instead of mashing out specials. I remember the nude Mai char edit palettes shared online.

MvC2 had the most drawn out character unlocking process in fighting game history. Even worse than Smash Ultimate. You'd grind points by playing the game, and spend them on chars and stages. Took forever... But great fun in single player.

Dunno who needs to hear it, but the optimal way to play any game that involves shooting a gun is in VR.
Tracked motion controls are to shooting as a direct drive wheel and pedals with load cell brakes are to driving.
