(He/Him) I’m a big fan of video games, video game history, and anime.

Currently spending my spare time working on trying to find all of the digital pinball games released for consoles and handhelds. And playing Wacca. I love Wacca.
Our Crusader of Centy is probably getting sold tomorrow too. I wish I hadn’t taken the $35 sticker off of that one.

At 45 years old, I've had lots of friends through my life that I've lost touch with, whose memories I treasure and remnants of broken bonds I still hold close to my heart. The nostalgic, reflective, sometimes gentle and sometimes passionate tone in this opening with this arc resonates deeply with me

From the Crunchyroll translation:

"Why did you give up on your search?
Why do you keep fighting by yourself?
Say, what kind of future did you prepare for?
Have you fulfilled your dream?"

This feels powerful juxtaposed with Sanji's cape showing the weight of the memories from how he left.

Mine favorite is Hope. I love how it opens with the faster chorus and then slows down afterwards with softer tone, like of solemn reflection. With how Sanji parted, I love how the few lines in the middle are like someone talking to the memory of a long, lost friend.

Given the right voltage, everything becomes light-emitting.

They picked a time period and put in the effort to put in period appropriate sets and it felt like they earnestly tried to make it feel like it really took place at that time.

I think it turned into nostalgia bait when they noticed people talking about the sets more than the story and saw $$$.

I enjoyed the first season, and bounced away for the rest. It didn’t feel like nostalgia bait. You know how you watch a show and a character says “Let’s play Nintendo!” and they grab a PlayStation controller and sit in front of a TV without any cords going into it while 2600 Pac-Man noises play?

Neat finds! Pataank is something else for sure. I was lucky enough to get my copy autographed by Rob Fulop a few years ago. He was super cool and shared some neat stories. He also seemed a little exasperated that, of all the games he worked on, this was what I brought for him autograph. LOL

All of these fonts are amazing and should still be in use today.
