I like this book a lot. like I read this so fast. It made me feel okay and cozy and safe. Honestly I might buy this one like I have a desire not to return this to the library (don’t worry I will). I want to sit in their world for a while.

3/25 The Song of Sourwood Mountain. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I don’t think this is everyone’s cup of tea but it was definitely mine it reminds me of Anne of Green Gables. I’ll be thinking about Ada June and Ms Mira and Gordon for a long while. Note to self a good book to read in Ramadan religious themes aplenty.

I’d recommend the overcast app it’s a podcast app that functions much better than the regular apple podcast app.

2/25 The Wind Off The Small Isles ⭐️⭐️
The writing was good but I like didn’t have fun which is what I’m looking for currently. Maybe at a different time I would’ve liked this better. I don’t think I will think about this later and the characters are a little boring.

I saw a CBC news bit about tariffs and different Canadian businesses that are going to be affected. Hardbite was one of them. I saw it at shoppers and decided to give them a try. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ great taste and I feel light afterwards.

1/25 Ice Blonde. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The writing was excellent. The descriptions are something I will remember for a while. The characters felt real and I find myself day dreaming about what Angela might be up to after the book ended.

I’m turning 26 soon and I haven’t made time to learn how to drive so I’m getting a photo card to use as ID. I will learn how to drive eventually but not now.

Okay so I got busy and didn’t take many photos here’s on of the cookie ingredients

When you forget the baking soda on the day you planned to stay in and bake cookies and meringues.

Okay so I tried to follow the recipe directions with the whipped butter but I couldn’t get my butter whipped enough and then when I folded the dough it was filled with air pockets because of the whipped butter so then the pocket popped and it made the dough impossible to roll out.

I’ve never tried to laminate dough without it being super cold so I’m nervous

Dough hooks are great.

Making the pastry tonight so it can cool overnight.

Oh my god y’all if the legislation goes through the states that have it pending the person that wins the popular vote will win the presidency every time and it will be a straightforward first past the post election. I thought it would take longer but it might just happen before the next election.
