Zivilgesellschaftliches Engagement wird nicht nur von Rechtsaußen-Propheten zur Gefahr für die Demokratie stilisiert und somit delegitimiert. Auch die etablierten Parteien machen mit. Das ist fatal.

this creeping shift (that was also documented in the report by @dimr.bsky.social) towards the authoritarian playbook and that neither the press, nor judiciary seems able or willing to hold those politicians or in law enforcement to account for human rights violations occurring in Germany.

Germany was downgraded once again and is now rated as a country with obstructed civic space mainly due to law enforcement’s heavy handed handling of Palestine solidarity protests and association.
As a human rights expert what is most concerning to me is that tue wider public does not seem to notice
