Emily (Emily Writes) and I drafted a letter to Andrew Little about his decision to appoint Ray Chung as chair of the CCO Review & Appointments subcommittee. We think this is unacceptable given his past behaviour. Here's a template for a letter if you agree:

Really, Andrew Little?
Andrew Little has appointed Ray Chung to head an important Wellington City Council committee. We don't think he should be doing that. If you agree, please tell him so. Here's how.

Time to make #NZGreens the number #1 party. Their GreenBudget is fully costed & fantastic. Their TaxTheRichest policy means most NZers pay LESS tax, & we get good jobs, free GPs, Free Dentists & Free Childcare, climate-action, clean air & environment & fair & equal wages. Everyone will be better off

Oh look.
The Green Party's proposal for a wealth tax on 1% of assets above £10m and 2% on assets above £1bn comes top of our list of tax reforms that Britons would support, with 75% giving it their backing

The negative impacts this government has had on our health system was almost immediate, and has worsened every month that goes by with them in power. Funding cuts, service closures, graduate nurses unable to find jobs, dismantling of Te Aka Whai Ora. Support the strike! #nzpol

My turn to say I’m in Christchurch hospital with the old man and how professional and kind nurses and all staff are. The orderly gentleman last night gave us a whole ‘hospital 101’ in the 3 min transfer from l ED to the Assessment Unit with tips on who to ask and where stuff is. So thoughtful. 🥇❤️

📣 Aotearoa folks who are not public servants, could you please talk to public servants in your lives and learn more about the strikes and the unions if you don’t know much about that stuff? I’m NOT a fan of this trend of pitching the public against public servants, their unions and their strikes.

📢 1,700 Policy, Advisory, Knowledge and Specialist health workers have voted to join strike action on 23 October. The strike follows the failure of Health NZ Te Whatu Ora to provide an offer during bargaining that fairly reflects their value to the public health system.

You may have heard Peters trying to make the situation with the abducted NZers all about him

They’ve been released and their flights home paid for by the people who love them

Unlike Peters, who has all his flights paid for by taxpayers
