Dart+ and Luas Finglas “languishing in limbo” as Government yet to finalise spending plan
The Government has been criticised for leaving transport projects in limbo, as it has not published promised spending plans for each department after publishing one of the most vague National Development Plans earlier this year. When the National Development Plan (NDP) was published in July it was widely criticised for being so vague -- the issue with the plan was raised widely, way beyond the Government's political opposition.

New agency to deliver Dublin’s MetroLink criticised as extra “layer of bureaucracy”
Minister for Transport, Darragh O'Brien, announced yesterday that he is establishing a new "dedicated MetroLink delivery body", but this unexpected move has been questioned by the commuter advocacy group Rail Users Ireland. Minister O'Brien said he has secured Cabinet approval for the new Government policy of setting up the new agency for the project. It follows recent planning approval for MetroLink, which is proposed to link Swords in North Dublin and Dublin City Centre with stations which link to existing and planned Dart lines, Luas lines, and bus routes.

What does the group want? Given the claims that groups against greenway projects are making -- the groups say they are not against greenways, just some projects -- here are some facts :

This cycle path has resulted in more people cycling on this road, but maintenance is needed otherwise it makes the route weather-dependent for at least some users:
Update on this cycle-lane. Last Thursday, someone came to clear the drains, but left all the leaves & rubbish in place in clumps. So when it rained again, all the shores blocked again.

The problem isn't the leaves; it's the sh1tty design & no maintenance.

An Irish company has begun supplying local authorities in Ireland with Dutch-style entrance kerbs, alongside a range of 1,800 products that the company is marketing as types of "active travel kerbs". Entrance kerbs work in conjunction with other features as part of traffic calming measures to slow motorists as they leave the main carriageway at entrances to minor side streets, private access points such as businesses and at driveways.
