I guess where I’m at now is that I think it’s a fair criticism of certain moderates to say they don’t like their party and want it to win and also for that exact reason, treating the party itself as a worthless lost cause is counterproductive. But idk. I’m just thinking out loud here.

Paladin is the 5e of 5e in that the core design and concept is so clean, distinct, and iconic that your eyes kinda glaze over when they try to sell you on the latest oath of peepee poopoo when “your options are white knight, black knight, and green knight” covered all the bases from day one.
