I read the book and I did the report (which I think was great by the way). We had to present our report in front of the class. It wasn’t until I finished presenting that my teacher realized maybe the book wasn’t appropriate for school. But it was too late lol.

I would say this trend is disturbing, but it's more indicative of a longer phenomenon: rising economic inequality, the destruction of public education, and the rewarding of the bourgeoisie by robbing the poor. There is still hope, I think, for the youth.

People will need abortions even when we live in a world where contraception of every kind is freely available to everyone who needs it.

Even when we live in a world without sexual violence.

As long as people will ever be pregnant, we will need abortions.

And they will always be good.

Bodily autonomy is a gift, a social good, a blessing.

Forced pregnancy is an abomination, a scourge, the most appalling kind of oppression.

It's not complicated.
