I have to officiate basketball games tomorrow so will miss it. Not expecting a close game in a rebuild year one for McCollum. Hopefully next year it’s competitive.

So long as Kirk there and his early 2000 mindset, they could potentially be the only Big Ten team to play in a bowl game as soon as next year. Kirk only coach that believes in them.

Teams like Iowa under Ferentz’s philosophy will still value them!

And I would concur with you on that. The NFL talent is all non-skill players though and that’s where Iowa has struggled to get over the hump with. Need those pieces all the same time to have an Indiana type season.

This 8-4 has different feeling than 8-4 last year though. They do need to make a CFP appearance though in next couple years of Kirk is to stick around.
