got it down on the floor to make routing wires and applying the foam padding for the side panels easier, gonna wait til i have them to do the rest so i can make sure I'm plugging everything into the control boards properly

meant to share yesterday, but finished the frame! took about 12 hours due to triple-checking all the bits are perfectly aligned
next up: prepping the 3D printed parts w/ heat inserts and then also the wiring for the hot ends (luckily found some good youtube videos; the build guide isnt great here)

going to run it back focusing on mobility of the legs and paying more attention to how it'll interface w/ the body. Haven't deleted the first set, but wanna have this done also :>

goal for my visor - making it w/ polycarbonate - is shaping up to be an interesting challenge, and more involved than I initially thought it'd be. Learning a lot about material science (for a few specific materials) w/ the research I've been doing though :D

client web-design project plus assignments are gonna put a short hold on modeling progress, but I guess that's fine since I'm waiting for black Friday before ordering the printer anyway :3

nearly done with the legs, just need to add a groove to the claws so they slot into the holes in the toes :3

wasn't expecting to go from sketch to nearly complete form in a day coming from virtually no meaningful experience with Blender, but W
next up is sticking a hole through the middle for a leg, and then splitting it into 3 sections for printing

It's fursuit time, starting with the digi legs. I like these proportions a lot. Next up is making sure they're consistent sizes and then probably learning Blender.
