Correct me if I’m wrong bsky, but fighting to build more $600,000 condos in West Hollywood is not the type of affordable housing we should be concerned about right?

We live in a developed society. A society that was developed off of the backs of working people. Why the fuck would I continue to contribute to the production of luxury living for people with money when I can’t even get a simple guarantee that I’ll be able to do more with my existence than merely survive? The people who owe that to US are the people who get rich utilizing the labor of people poorer than them. You call it entitlement I call it basic math. I’ve started multiple businesses. Most of my initial investment goes to licenses, fees, taxes, compliance, insurance. All of that money spent before I can even think about investing in the actual business. How exactly would you expect a person to be able to open a business and reach a point where they can hire their own employees when they were born poor and only make enough to survive paycheck to paycheck? Explain that to me. Despite all of this, I built a brand and had the product sold in over half the states in this country. I did this while also going to college and working to make enough money for rent (only $600 at that time!) and ramen. After years of working on this business I decided to sell it so I could spend more time doing things like sleeping 6 hours a night. Do you know how much money I got from the sale of my successful company? Not a fucking dime. In fact, it wasn’t even enough to pay off all of the debt that was required to get the company up and running. It’s not just employers who caused us to end up where we are. There are fundamental flaws in the way our society is set up. I don’t care if you believe me to be entitled. This country has entire culture that fetishizes greed and there’s no group of people more entitled than the rich. My goal in life is to be able to make enough money to have kids (as many are demanding of us right now) and leave them in a world where they don’t have to fight for scraps because there’s enough resources here to take care of everyone. My entire goal in life is to have a family I can care for and to live in peace. That’s not fucking possible. For generations, they spoke of the “American Dream.” Now when we say “what about us?” the people who got us to this point tell us to sit down, shut up, and stop being entitled. What a fucking joke. Young people are lost and frustrated and scared and all any of you can do is shit on us for asking for an existence that isn’t completely fucking pointless. But go ahead and just keep on calling us entitled, see how much that really helps the situation.

My laptop has a broken CPU fan and after replacing the fan, it still didn’t work.

But that’s not the issue.

My biggest issue is having to deal with WINDOWS! It’s such a clunky unoptimized system.

With caution, I can still use my PC without a CPU fan. But it’s totally unusable with Windows.
