I've been thinking about this all day too & just saw the story again on CBC.
I will say with the number of stories coming out about huge amounts of money lost lately, I don't remember hearing so much of this before online banking was a thing.

Do you all remember that story about the libertarians who took over a town in New Hampshire and refused to pay for trash pick up and then the bears invaded?

I love that story.

It's almost impossible to speak to a human that knows anything at Bell now. This is just next level enraging. And that they will then charge you $250 after the first year for the pleasure of driving you insane is laughable. Someone out there is definitely earning commission on selling fucking AI.

So I have unfollowed CBC on YouTube. Fuck that. Well done. Way to engage your audience.

The irony is, they've shut comments off on the YouTube video. So ideally, I *could* ask CBC any question I might have. The mechanism is there, but no, they funnel us to this bullshit.

It is infuriating. All these so-called safeguards they put in and nobody can just think.

And CBC, this is the first time I've had a YouTube video pop up with a prompt asking if I want AI to "summarize the video" or do I want to "ask AI more questions" about it.
As I don't see that on any other videos, I'm guessing CBC applied that. Fuck off with this bullshit.
