The MO is always the same:
1) Minimalist author account contacts me and goes into private chat
2) back-and-forth about writing methods, tools, etc
3) Sudden switch to market-based technobabble, shortly followed by "I know a guy"
4) Intro to scam "marketer"

There is a person behind the work. The weird work or the non conformist work or the brave work doesn't get made without that person squaring up who they are as a person, consciously or unconsciously with the world and how it functions. I think thats an important part of the convo. 🤷🏽♀️
