Looking forward to seeing if this IDE gets better over time, but seems like they close a lot of issues on their github that report issues like this, without any real comment, or making them as "won't fix". 🤷 Would be cool to have such a lightweight editor be more useful but I guess we'll see.

able to check for errors every 30 seconds. Gets super annoying making me think I mistyped something and keep going back to check the error then it disappears as I'm reading what is wrong. Maybe that is one reason why VSCode uses so much RAM, is because it has such a hyper-active intellisense.

it can't keep up with my typing and gets stuck showing like, errors that "are" there as of like 10 seconds ago when I was in the middle of typing "public override void _Ready()", where it will mark specifically "erride voi" as invalid, since I guess I was in the middle of typing when it last was

asprtrcont->[TAB]
Which would complete to "AspectRatioContainer". I work so much slower in zed because of the lack of quickly typing abbreviations then tab to get what I want 99% of the time. Also, the language server kinda locks up sometimes and just lags out putting red squiggles randomly because

I use a crappy no-name brand wireless one for like 10$ off amazon from years ago. I gotta say it works pretty dang well and only needed to swap the battery like once in the years I've had it. I have the numlock key removed intentionally cause I kept tapping it accidentally lol.

Detachable/Wireless numpad + TKL keyboard is peak. Gets it out of the way when I don't need it, but there when I need it for blender. Also I like having numpad to the right of my mouse.

Me going home after a long day at work to relax and play a game that makes me unimaginably angry

truly the most important part about linux: being able to OWN your computer, instead of microsoft deciding that you can't have the taskbar on the side of your screen anymore cause uhhh.... yeah :)

I grew up using a trackball mouse as my first mouse so it was like a weird nostalgic muscle memory getting to use one again, and now when I go to use a regular mouse it makes me a minute to rewire my brain and remember how to use a normal mouse lol.

I don't know why we as a society decided to keep using the laser-facing-down style classic mouse instead of the track ball. It takes a little relearning if you're not used to it but damn, once you get used to it it is so good and way more comfortable.
