So far I've been liking trying out zed for gamedev, but my biggest complaint is that the intellisense-type-thing they have is incredibly slow/dumb. I got so used to having super quick suggestions in VSCode/Regular VS that I realized when I go to say, create a new node in code, I would type like:

Update: Accidentally installed Arch linux on my orb 😔 Now my drivers are all fucked up and casting spells causes a SEGFAULT and kernel panic.
Since my PC is currently upgrading to Ubuntu 25.10 from 24.04 LTS, I have to watch YouTube on the orb while I wait...

Finally figured out rebaking navmeshes at runtime. Was getting weird hitching no matter what even if it was running on another thread. Turns out: Gotta set it to parse just static colliders, not all geometry, since doing the latter apparently requires asking the GPU for vertex data causing hitching🤦‍♂️

My stupid headset finally started giving up the ghost and one of the ear cups that rotates snapped, but through the power of UV resin, I think I've got it fixed now. While I like steelseries headsets, they pretty much have a hard cap of 4 years before this same defect happens every single time. :/

Just followed a guy around in Stella Montis who RP walked while playing Tame Impala through his mic from spawn to extraction without firing a single shot. He is truly the most powerful raider.

Why don't device/OS makers just enforce setting up parental controls as a part of the OOBE, then it sets a bit in the OS to say if you're an adult or not. Then browsers, and subsequently websites can tell if you're an adult or not?

It is quite literally THAT SIMPLE.

It's been just over a year since I've been using a trackball mouse, and holy shit, probably one of the better purchases I've made. I don't get any wrist pain anymore from being on the computer, and I get more desk space from not needing to move around the mouse.

lmao, I'm dumb. I figured out my BIOS reset at some point and reset my ram speed and cpu fan curve to defaults, which is why Decay Chain was shitting the bed past few streams. Just tested it and we're back to steady 60fps again while recording, and 50c CPU idle temp instead of 80c lmaooo

Also, did this via brute forcing animated decals by using an animation player on a decal to swap out its emission texture lmaoo (Why don't they just add a real animated decal option to godot?)
