Harvesting resources from space to benefit humankind.
Isaacman's hearing commentary here: www.youtube.com/live/lqaJY1x...
December 17, 2025 at 8:35 PM
Administrator Isaacman said it best, "there is helium-3 on the moon [and] our foreign policy and wars have been fought for a century over sources of power. To get that wrong could have implications here on Earth that could change the balance of power."

Let's get to work!

The Apollo program may have contributed humanity’s first steps on another world—but for Interlune, it was the first step toward a new lunar economy.

Jack’s vision helped inspire Interlune’s founding and continues to shape our work to bring helium-3 back to Earth for quantum computing, advanced medical imaging, national security, clean energy, and more.

The Apollo mission spent more than 12 days on the lunar surface and broke many records related to human spaceflight.

Today, we honor Jack, Apollo 17, and the scientific thread that connects that mission to our work today.

Imagine what Gary Vermeer, Jason Andringa’s grandfather, and founder of Vermeer, would have thought if you had told him in 1948 that someday his company would be helping to design equipment that would one day be used on the Moon!

Gigi Wood “dug into” (pun intended) how Vermeer’s innovation in agricultural machinery over decades translates into harvesting natural resources from space.
