I've been quiet on here lately because I'm actually in the process of moving 😅 So this event is up longer than normal! Keep Mariah Carey frozen a little while longer!

If you aren't really a gamer, more of a bookworm, but you enjoy choose your own adventure novels and having people to discuss your choices with, being a part of the story in a way you can't get from a pre-written book, and figuring things out before the characters do, Vekari is also for you!

If you are 20+ and miss the community of virtual world spaces, the puzzle events, the text-stories and adventures paired with mini games, and you also wish you could have a world like this to explore different fears and horrors in, then Vekari is definitely for you.

If you are looking for text adventure, weird horror, cyberpunk with the realities of control and disability, HTML puzzles, something free of ads and in game purchases, and something with the "this is temporary" feel of Unus Annus, Vekari is for you.

If you are looking for something so unprofitable you won't find a company making anything like it and it ends up having the most unhinged writing and choices possible, something that is nostalgic yet new, and is guaranteed to not have gen AI, Vekari is for you.

A Night with Nathan, for me at least, was not just a story in the movie and it did not start or end when the premiere did. It was a whole years long lived experience, and continues to be. It is incredibly human. I'm so damn proud of these guys for getting it so right, this is a must watch.

"Just being an extra" started an entire domino effect leading to me finally finding confidence in myself and being able to just talk and connect with people, just like the entire plot of this movie is about for Nathan.

I was included in the group photo after the screening despite just being a little guy in the background somewhere. The actor beside me said "Don't worry, I won't lick you" as he squished in closer, and we ended up chatting after, clicked immediately. Finally, I did not drop the ball.

Exaggerated characterizations of course, but so much of it felt like any given night I was invited out with him, minus the hookups of course 🤣
But the lessons and conversations felt very directed

Maybe that's a coincidence, but I have my doubts 😅
Needless to say, I fucking loved it.

And then my grandma passed away, and he was there with hugs and to help me figure out what to wear.

So imagine my realization while watching this, at how personal it felt, for me. With Pete playing a character who is doing

for Nathan, a character who has childhood trauma
