I eventually get cats that live with me to accept trimming with little fuss, by asking & letting them choose when to let me trim. Both of these current cats are far from it. I suspect, even tho their shelters were great, they were trimmed brusquely. Understandable, but they both have “toenail PTSD”

And: We had a huge breakthrough yesterday, in that he let me trim one toenail without biting me.
