Health Alert Network (HANs) are CDC's way of giving early warning to clinicians about a threat to look out and prepare for. Since a bunch of sallow, prepubescent lackies took over our communications, HANs have dwindled from 16 and 18 in 2023 and 2024, to just 6 in 2025.
