I leave my job tomorrow and today one of my sen kids who always tries to be a little bit aloof as though she doesn’t care about us teachers came and quietly sat next to me and just said really sadly ‘I’ll miss you, miss’ so now I’m crying about it :(

I’m gonna miss teaching but I’m so glad to be leaving secondary education because some teachers are wayyy too willing to ignore the basic rights of students because maybe they’re a bit naughty or have low attendance
