Just finished Lelith Hesperax: Queen of Knives. Didn't expect a 40k book about Drukhari to have a happy ending. Also has a surprisingly well-written romance subplot that is fantastic, and (as expected) the fight scenes were incredible.
Highly recommend it.

Still my absolute favorite mech, and not the least because it doesn't look like just another big dude in mech armour, or something overtly anime. It looks like some metal alien monstrosity, alive, feral, and absolutely hungry for blood.

The Mass Effect trilogy still hits so damn hard, even this many years later. Had a bunch of mods this time, but yeah. Still an absolute masterpiece of storytelling. I can't wait for the next one.

Pushed myself a little to hard after a workout, went to lay down for a minute. Wife's cat came, sat on my chest, drooled on me, and then buggered off. But I did feel better immediately afterwards.
