See you there!
Elise Stefanik is pinning her campaign hopes on Zohran Mamdani failing but the reality is just the opposite. He is likely to succeed, due in no small part to the skills of people like Dean Fuleihan helping turn Mamdani's affordability vision into reality.
New York City First Deputy Mayor designee Dean Fuleihan, with 47 years of experience in state and local government budgeting and policy implementation, spoke exclusively to The Nation about why he believes Zohran Mamdani’s affordability agenda is absolutely realistic AND absolutely achievable.
Can Mamdani Deliver? “Yes! It’s an Unqualified Yes!”
Dean Fuleihan, Mamdani’s incoming first deputy mayor, speaks exclusively about how the mayor-elect will make his agenda a reality.

So say we all!
I want a government that doesn’t sound like a deeply damaged, bratty boy when it communicates with citizens exercising their First Amendment rights.

Does Pam Bondi know that Nixon didn’t go to jail but his AG did? 🤣🤣🤣

The unravelling continues.

This is why we need to vote out the MAGA GOP from Congress.
Yikes 😬 an official U.S. government account just referred to Americans as “imbecilic morons.” That’s… a choice.

"To our immigrant brothers and sisters, we stand with you in your suffering, since, when one member suffers, all suffer (cf. 1 Corinthians 12:26). You are not alone!"

"We oppose the indiscriminate mass deportation of people."

This is a strong statement. The moral and ethical voice is clear.

The weight of all this Epstein information can seem overwhelming but the reality is Congress has to move ahead and vote to release the DOJ files. Let the chips fall where they may.
BREAKING: Twenty-four survivors of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell’s crimes have issued an emotional and urgent appeal to the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives, demanding that Congress vote to release the long-awaited Epstein files. meidasnews.com/news/survivo...

From two days ago, BEFORE the release of the House Committee Trump/Epstein files.

Imagine what will happen when the Department of Justice files are released. Or Trump vetoes their release.

Stay tuned!

Yesterday Congresswoman Adelita Grijalva (D-AZ) was sworn in by Speaker of the House Mike Johnson 5 weeks after she was elected to represent her state. Her swearing-in speech was fiery and inspiring.

She railed against Johnson and the delay in her swearing-in. "This is an abuse of power," she said.

h/t to Feminist News on Facebook!

Speaker Mike Johnson has announced that he will bring the vote on the Epstein files to the House floor next week, speeding up the process from what was initially expected in December.

This is a test of moral character vs. loyalty to Trump. Who passes? Who fails?

Stefanik has tried to make her candidacy look like it is destiny but the reality is she's a poor candidate and a terrible choice for New York. Blakeman is visiting the House District she should represent but doesn't live in and never shows up for anymore. #MAGA #Epsteinfiles #TrumpDisaster

Now on to the Epstein files discharge petition. We've gotten a little taste of those today. We would like them all.

ROAD TRIP!

Indivisible New York is organizing rallies at each of Senator Schumer’s eight offices across the state on Friday to protest his inability to keep his caucus together and maintain the shutdown. Central NY groups will gather on Friday from 12-1 at the Hanley Federal Building in Syracuse.

Doomed.

"...Stefanik has spent much of her time presenting her selection as the GOP nominee as a foregone conclusion — a tactic employed by Zeldin in 2022."

"She rolled out 45 endorsements from state legislators on Friday. Notably absent were any of the 20 Republican legislators from Long Island."
Stefanik hit by GOP rival after launching NY governor bid
Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman floated his own gubernatorial run and criticized Stefanik as having limited appeal.

As Ezra Levin, Indivisible Co-Executive Director, emailed this evening: "Senate Democrats surrendered when they had maximum leverage and were winning the fight. This surrender came weeks after the largest protest in American history, and days after the best election night in a decade or more."
After yesterday’s surrender, we’re launching the largest Democratic primary program that we’ve ever run.

We will not back any Senate primary candidate unless they call for Schumer to step down as Minority Leader.

If you’re as pissed as we are, join this campaign to rebuild the Democratic Party. 👇
