Are you a Costco member? They can be pretty competitive on tyres - I saved £120 when I had a full set of cross climates on the xc60 last year.

The irony is out of all the P2's I've had the XC90 is actually the easiest to turn! Despite being the biggest.

I think you should go look at a Volvo C30 - they are getting cheaper now, very comfortable, and had an absolutely bewildering range of engines to choose from all the way from the devilish DV6 upto the T5. Just avoid anything with a power shift gearbox.

The injectors are still rattling and occasionally it barely moves when you plant the throttle but...it's well... useable 🤣

To be fair every D5 Volvo I've owned is moody. Sometimes they are lovely and smooth, sometimes they are super grumbly and rough...the XC60, C30 & XC90 all do the same thing 🤣
