If you haven't already go watch the BBC breakfast clip where the chancellor is questioned on how miles for EVs is to be accounted for "well your mileage is recorded every year at your MOT...." She seemed genuinely dumbfounded when the presenter pointed out new cars don't get MOT'd for three years 🫣

I'll admit, I'd honestly hoped that this video would of done better, not least because I really enjoyed making it. It's not going to dissuade me though from pursuing a lighter tone and more collabs in the future.

At the risk of igniting a debate I might regret about the proposed EV road charging per mile - I do have one legitimate question. The plan is to estimate your mileage and pay in advance. What if you put a load of miles on your car in Europe? Why should you pay the UK a tax on that mileage?
