On Bluesky now that it feels like what Twitter used to be.
Before Twitter became Musk's personal plaything.
As general rule, war veterans should be honoured for their actions during the war and should have adequate support from the state especially as they get older - however you shouldn't always put the words of a war veteran on a pedestal and feel unable to challenge them

The Bureau of Investigative Journalism discovered that Sri Lankan based influencer Geeth Sooriyapura was responsible for a significant amount of content on Facebook that radicalised people in the UK - particularly older people more suggestable to such content, like angry pensioners.

British logic in the past 15 years:

The cure to bailing out the bankers was to vote Conservative so they implement austerity and "regain" the cash at.

The solution to austerity was to vote Brexit "to take back control."

The solution to the new economy created by Brexit is to vote Reform. 🙃

Mind-boggling that it's actually taken this long.
These 'revelations' surrounding Farage aren't new. They've been around for years. Why has it taken this long for them to gain traction?

He's a racist POS.

LONG overdue but finally Farage is getting the media scrutiny that has been missing for years.
Well said
Nothing that we didn't already know or suspect but I'm glad this story isn't going away. Farage is a nasty piece of work; a bully of the first order. It would be karma if his inability to be honest about his past was the thing which finally brought him down.

An unlikely name for a politician - who is decidedly not Aryan in appearance - in this former German colony.

Adolf's father was apparently unaware of the Führer's actions and views.

Farage has long dogwhistled racist views while having the façade of respectability, thanks to largely passive British media - now however there is a chance of the media to do some investigative work.

However I fear he's been allowed to entrench himself too deeply in politics and has a support base
Farage fell out of Musk's good bioks not because Farage was hanging out with Nazis but that he wasn't extreme enough.

But Farage prefers to dogwhislte while having the façade of some respectable - something the UK's media outlets seem loathe to comment on or investigate.
This Byline Times story on Farage pictured with far-right activists has not been picked up by any established media outlet - including liberal/democratic/left publications. Why? Because people like being comfortable in their own power and status.

The newspaper I edit will keep sounding the alarm.
November 25, 2025 at 12:32 PM
I wonder if the BBC will be as robust in their coverage of Farage as they were about Rayner.
"Angela Rayner has resigned - so let's see what Nigel Farage has to say about it" - essentially the BBC's response as they platform him once again in preference to any other political leader.
