Yesterday, Impact for Equity’s Joi Imobhio and Amy Thompson testified at the City Council of Chicago’s meeting of the Committee on Pedestrian and Traffic Safety. Their testimony explained how pretextual traffic stops, far from improving crime outcomes, in fact undermine public safety.
