Just tried Claude + Cline to learn a bit about some of the awesome frameworks and libs that I know nothing of yet ( AstroJS and Nivo for now, many to come).

Finished coding a big feature on my personal project, Wavve, and now a user can create a Playlist of shuffled sounds in a Scene.
Seems little, but as I never had to do any #backend dev, I had to ask myself a few questions I never had to before now.

Every single time an LLM hallucinates, I am grateful:
Grateful that I spotted it, and thus remind myself that any and all LLM output needs to be validated. You can never trust these things 100%, unless you have additional validation in place that is 100% reliable.

We’re all on Bluesky because we think a better alternative was a good thing, instead of just saying “social media sucks”. Instead of just saying “all AI is useless”, saying “some folks find some utility here, so we should offer ethical, sustainable alternatives pretty fast” is the best option.

The current approach to a lot of AI criticism suffers from the same flaws that our criticisms of social media did a generation ago, and will be exploited by the big companies similarly if we don’t learn and adapt. We did not stop Facebook and Twitter by saying “they’re bad, don’t use them”.
