I didn't see the assignment or rubric, but I can't imagine a single college professor giving me any points for a paper like this; maybe I'm missing something? Was the reaction paper supposed to be based on opinion?
idk not to mention how very nuanced and normal the actual response here was

Whatever I don't get to tonight I'll try to do on Thursday or Friday night. Then a whole slew of Browser, AVCX, and OOLF next week, along with midis for days, including a Crossweird from Erik Agard!

There's so much left unspoken in "The Best Game (That We Played) of 2025," and I wish we could spend the first part of 2026 catching up on all the blind spots great GOTY lists bring to our attention and then really identifying the "bests."

(And I'm not saying that people *will* show up on these other alternative storefronts, or that Valve doesn't have a stranglehold on indie studios--I'm just saying that that's not *entirely* Valve's fault. People go all over to find illegal downloads, but they can't switch storefronts?)

The one sobering part about this is realizing that some of the addresses you have on file for people from just months ago are now defunct, because this industry eats people up!

But yeah, staring at past e-mails is like looking into the abyss sometimes.

Like, there's so many other ways to interpret that data! Apple TV has added a lot of other, more current seasons of television—enough to perhaps knock Silo out, temporarily. And fans of Silo may have, you know, already *watched* the first two seasons and don't need a refresher before the third Wild!
