Good, it’s relatively small fry in the £billions lost, BUT every penny counts AND if it makes people think twice about fraud, then so be it. 👏🏻

Woefully lost their way.

Did we expect BadEnough to do her homework? That’ll be a ‘no’. Although I wouldn’t put it past her to ignore the dates in the hope that people won’t notice.

1 high school in our area closes next year. 2 other schools in our area were also earmarked for closure. It appears both have been given a reprieve, but with the declining birth rates, I don’t know for how long. If there are fewer schools and students it’s not rocket science to need fewer teachers.
December 11, 2025 at 2:46 PM
The birth rate and fact that some state schools are closing, because of deficits due to declining class numbers, may also come into it, apparently 😏

But, but Bernard Manning!!!! 🙄
December 11, 2025 at 2:41 PM
Of course he has… 😒

The splinters from the bottom of the barrel.

Given the pace it is moving at, unregulated AI is spectacularly scary.

A positive move!

If our education & employment systems were more inclusive, perhaps fewer people would feel they need a diagnosis to cope.”

A great deal can change, and quite quickly, when new leaders and govts change.

It was literally a smash and grab while the tills were open. Shameful.

So, one has to be there to be discussed and defend themselves, the other doesn’t. Balanced BBC, not. 🙄
December 9, 2025 at 4:48 PM
Tbf I wouldn’t expect any other, he’s the PM, undiplomatic mudslinging isn’t going to help or achieve much.

My point still stands, a member of the public reported Reform to the police for potential law breaking, so the onus is on the police to look into it. The EC must not have referred Labour to the police. The same can be said of the Lib Dems when it happened to them and they received a fine.

I don’t personally use TikTok, but can see the benefit for attracting the attention of younger people. However, they claim to be branching out, yet why not on here? UK users are the largest on this platform after the US & Brazil, with some 85% stating a high interest in politics.
December 9, 2025 at 11:43 AM
It may well be passed onto the EC after investigations take place if there is no evidence of law breaking found.
December 9, 2025 at 11:37 AM
They weren’t referred to the police because the EC investigated it and issued the fine. The circumstances surrounding Reform are different in that the complaint was made to the police by a member of the public (and former staff member), so the onus is on them to now make preliminary investigations.

Exactly. Is it even really proper to call it Farage’s office given he doesn’t set foot in it.
December 9, 2025 at 11:09 AM
Could it be that the walls are finally closing in? Definitely overdue.
December 9, 2025 at 11:07 AM
This needs serious investigation. The fact that some of the usual braying media appear to be turning against Fagash definitely shows something. The stench is just too strong.
