I value diverse points of view, and I expect the same from you. If you’re a business that supports women, BIPOC, Trans and/or Gender Non-Conforming, persons with disabilities, and values diverse points of view, we’ll work very well together. If you cannot accept this, I cannot accept your money.
Is anyone seeing prices in Rich Results today? I did a few random product searches and nothing is showing prices which I thought was odd.

When to use the robots.txt file or set a noindex tag.

TLDR;

Think of the robots.txt file as bugs crawling through your site. Don't want bugs, use the robots.txt to block them.

A noindex tells you in the name that it has to do with indexing. This of noindex tag as Do Not Include in Search Results

Shopify archived 163 reviews from my app today. Good thing we worked hard to earn every single review we've ever received. Also a good thing I have copies of them all 🫠

For those interested in contacting your representatives but don't know what to say, I highly recommend @resist.bot.

I can read, sign, and send pre-written petitions via email (texting with Resistbot).

These are getting through because I'm getting responses from at least one of my senators.

I am confident now that having more than one set of aggregateRating data can prevent reviews from showing up in Rich Results.

Been sick the last week and a half and I've done literally the bare minimum for support so I can get some rest. Somehow I doubt my customers even noticed (which is a good thing).

Today I finally felt normal-ish and was able to get back to my regularly scheduled programming. 😌

I have very little patience this week for junk emails. I'm unsubscribing or marking you as spam if I don't know who you are.

Clearly my mantra of "Practice Patience" isn't working so far 🤦‍♀️

I'm officially done with Helpscout. Any decent alternatives I should look at. Open source? Gmail addons? ... I'm looking at it all.

It's just me. I don't need all the bells and whistles. Don't need AI. Just looking for a basic tool that allows me to respond to my customers.

If you have a Shopify account, please report this site (yeezy dot com) that's selling a t-shirt with a swastika on it.

This is unacceptable. I don't care that it's Kanye.

You have to have a Shopify account to report it.

I recently received a question from a store owner evaluating JSON-LD for SEO.

"Will adding structured data get me a lot more traffic? Should we wait to get results on our first store before adding JSON-LD for SEO on our other stores?"

It's common to grant access to various folks who help you with your Shopify site. Between Shopify Partners, apps, and employees, I'm sure you've granted access to your store quite a few times over the last year.

LOL @shopify.bsky.social is making me remove Schema.org from my app listing because it's a URL. It's also the organization's name. I'm not trying to manipulate your app listing page or anything like that. FFS

I'm finding Shopify's Winter Editions 2025 Boring TV funny and cringe at the same time. However, there is so much "buffering" on some channels that I no longer care and end up going to their text updates instead. www.shopify.com/editions/win...

Warranty claims are so frustrating! I wish companies would just refund the card instead of sending a check. What a waste of my time!

Also, Toshiba sucks

Every time I read about banning books, I think of this:

Reading a book with a gay character will not make you gay any more than reading a book about Einstein will make you a genius.
If you're afraid that books might change someone's thinking, you're not afraid of books — you're afraid of thinking.
