Relaxing cookie consent rules is unlikely to leverage change. There must be:

⚫ More effective and dissuasive action by the ICO to remove illegal advertising.

⚫ Enforce data protection.

⚫ Protect law-abiding market players from the unfair competition of adtech companies who violate our privacy.

🏮 He's very concerned about measures which oblige trans people to out themselves publicly and significantly increase their vulnerability to harassment, abuse and even violence

🏮 And he asks for an evidence-based approach. This ought to be common sense but sadly none of this is evidence based.

🏮 He thinks the direction of travel in the UK will breach its human rights obligations in multiple respects - pushing trans people into an 'intermediate zone' and jeopardising their right to be treated with dignity and to be able to participate in all areas of everyday life...
