With regard to the outsourced work, the penalty clauses in the contracts are totally inadequate. The companies just shrug their shoulders.

I agree. But there’s a lot more pearl-clutching nowadays surrounding betting. A lot of people (including many on here) regard it as inherently evil, almost on a par with drug dealing and child molesting.
