It’s good the AI dubs are gone from Amazon Prime but this is also your reminder there are excellent dubs made by real people on Amazon like Sanda and Gquuuuux and it’s just as important for dub fans to be supporting those works as much as we’ve been calling out AI dubs.

Amazon has had many opportunities to create dubbing projects filled with authentic storytelling, emotional connection, and believability. Instead they have chosen to create AI slop dubs of Banana Fish, Vinland Saga, and No Game No life. Many are calling these dubs "insulting" and "disrespectful".

I tried to use the official Bandaid water slide decal AND sticker for this tongue piece on the Figure-rise Suletta, and both kept falling off or sliding off trying to connect to the face place. I'm just going to have to paint this part pink instead.

Surprising finale to the sumo tournament. One of the yokozuna had to drop out even though he was tied for first going into the final day, and then there was a playoff. Amazing journey for Aonishiki, a Ukrainian refugee turned pro sumo wrestler, and now a champion.

Model Kits & Chill workshop at Anime Los Angeles returns! I grabbed a bunch of kits this last week when I visited Gunpla Style & Neohappyland, and then Mecha Warehouse had to offer a great sale as well.

(Though I should add some kits with a mono-eye along with some non-mecha)
