So I've cropped it more & aligned the frames with respect to the comet this time. These frames are probably less than 5% of the full frame & have only been calibrated with darks & flat frames so expect it to be noisy at this scale

Here's the interstellar comet 3I/ATLAS seen moving among the background stars in Ophiuchus on the 17 & 18th of July. It's still fairly faint & it's coma activity is not obvious to me in the individual frames. I'll have to find a way to stack on a small, faint & moving target 🔭 #Astronomy #3I/ATLAS

It's been over a couple of years since I've cared much about astro. Heard about the detection of an interstellar comet, so thought I'd try & detect it. The data is much better than this video that I was able to generate through the Blink process in PixInsight. Do you see it? #3I/ATLAS #C/2025N1
