Thought of another one! Tripped over my roller chime when I was 2. Smacked my head/eyebrow on a unit. Mum ran to the Dr with me, needed stitches. Had to go 4 miles away & they butterfly stitched instead of proper, so I have a scar & looks like I shaved the line in my eyebrow 🤨
So many, but the most ridiculous one probably has to be when we were “hurdling” the tennis net in secondary school (we’d been left unsupervised!), and I caught my foot on the net, fell, cracked a finger. Got a trip to A&E in a Toyota MR2 though.

I’ve de-Christmassed the house. Back to work tomorrow so may as well make it miserable! Spent far too long re-utilising old fairy lights around the door and managed to fall off small steps! Now have bruised bum 🙄

I’ve had people here for the last 2 days (mum, daughters and a daughter partner), which has been lovely! But my cats have spent the last 2 days hiding in my room. Now it’s just me and them, they’ve been downstairs all evening, and are currently both snoozing on the sofa 🥰

“Dear” Hadley Freeman, I am not confused by life. Life has become a lot clearer since I got my diagnosis of ADHD at age 49. Meds have made my life less chaotic, and a lot less confused. Freeman knows very little about many things that she pontificates on, and she should just sit the fuck down really
then, the transphobes , feeling victorious at how many people they have made unhappy and despairing in the previous week, move on to anything else that has a spectrum and the possibility of more colours than they can conceive - such hateful people - they cannot understand anything that is not THEM

Sent first draft doctorate research proposal and learning agreement to my mentor on Monday, got feedback back yesterday, and it’s pretty positive and I know what to do for tweakings! Still need to do reflective research strategy report, but on track for 16/01/26 submissions!

I have finally realised something over this past year since ADHD diagnosis and medication. The medication *works* for me, and I mean really works. I have traditionally taken the last week of November to do the Pre-Christmas tidy, and I’ve needed the full week to do a room a day.

A small victory! Having had my Christmas Morrisons delivery slot booked for ages on 23/12, I then double booked myself with Its A Wonderful Life w/children & partners at Woolton Picture House. Randomly checked Christmas slots and have managed to get one the morning of 23/12 so no clash!
