I'd love to talk about this sometime. I had a similar train of thought, but came down on the side of the changes I was making being the minimum needed for safety, especially when compared to our vampiric resource extraction nowadays. Like a rebalancing. I totally get you though. What a game!

the progression from on-foot to vehicles to ziplines is sooooo good. it makes the ziplines feel really free and exciting, like you're cheating the game somehow. waving at the BTs as I sail by above
