Here's a submission to the #blueskyartshow theme #Vertical! Of course that makes me think of trees, but then again I usually am, haha.💚🌲💚

🌱 My first year tending corn for seed and meal. I've got everything thing from milk corn to mature ears. The immature ears are going into a corn chowder. Heirloom, open pollinated is the bomb!!

🌱 I found 2, black swallowtail caterpillars in my garden today. They are on a celery plant. Rat away, little ones! I'm happy to share my celery.

New, unknown fungi in a garden bed. What species do you guess or know? (3 photos of yellow, bumpy fungi by green plants & bark. Some small ones look like finger tips, medium ones are more cone shaped mushrooms, the largest have wide caps and faded color. All look fuzzy with small protrusions.)

🌱 My first Bennings Green squash of the year. NorCal is having a cool summer over all, so things are happening slowly out here. A small head of garlic for scale. The light green, fluted, flattened, round squash is about 12 inches/30.48 cm across.

🌱Desert beans update: they get a but of water every 10-14 days. This variety won't bloom and produce if over watered. There are blooms and some baby pods sets!

🌱 Today's posey. A white vase, with multiple openings in the shape of an anatomical heart. It holds 3 colors of roses and a few sprigs of feverfew.

@bibicosplays.bsky.social I got Bibi mail today. Yay!!

Yes they do! I have multiple pairs and recently ordered more.
I always tell people that my compression gloves not only look better but they work better than other brands. I believe things can have better functionality while allowing us to express ourselves!
@bibicosplays.bsky.social
These are the best compression gloves I've ever owned. To make them even better, they come in colorful prints! I bought two more pairs today, for a total of four, so I'll always have a pair close at hand.

This #LongCovid stuff is intense. Shower and sitting up for lunch results in needing a nap. Pacing the best I can. And my body has other opinions.

I know that sometimes working on a "micro" level and just helping individual people figure out stuff like what shower chair to get can seem like you're "not doing much"

But I figure, eugenicists want disabled people to die

Helping us stay alive, and suffer less, *is* important

Don't forget to add alt text on Instagram and Facebook, too. When you forget, the auto-generated alt text is not as helpful, complete, or accurate as human-written alt text. A.I. can't know the purpose of a photo. Always add your own alt text on Instagram and Facebook.

@sunsopeningband.bsky.social Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you (not enough thank yous) for being the editor.

And to all the contributors.
And the journal for making this ACCESSIBLE to all of us to read.

THIS IS SUPER!
