“Repaired” the control panel on my teacher’s microwave oven by rubbing it with my thumb and applying pressure.

It got the stop button and the +30 seconds button working again, which was enough to prevent the thing from getting thrown out.

Currently fixing an IBM Correcting Selectric III, I lost one of the "typeball" control cables in a minor electrical accident, one of them snapped, and the pinion spring got completely ruined.
I'm doing great!
